About Blue Merle Bookkeeping
With a Business Management degree from Montana State and a Master's degree from the University of Montana, Emily has been the bookkeeper for several businesses in Southwest Montana. After leaving a career in software consulting to start a family, she became a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and founded Blue Merle Bookkeeping to fill the niche of providing bookkeeping and payroll support to small and medium-sized businesses.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys gardening, mountain biking, camping, hiking, skiing, and the list goes on. More than anything, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter, a sixth-generation Montanan!
The namesake of Blue Merle Bookkeeping
Shep was a one-of-a-kind Blue Merle Australian Shepherd, with all the typical attributes of an Aussie. He was smart, loyal, energetic and diligent, which happen to be many of the same qualities that make a good bookkeeper.
